Who has herpes? You may be shocked to know that more people do than don't. Around a quarter of the population has HSV2, and well over half have HSV1. Either can be genital, or transmitted to others as such. Most have absolutely no idea they have it, because HSV is usually mild or asymptomatic - and it is NOT included in "complete" STD testing. So, let's all get over it, get educated, and help END the outdated stigma.

I just stumbled upon your blog and I was recently diagnosed with GHSV-1 which was super freaking traumatic, and "not a big deal" at the same time.
Thank you for just writing about this. It's been so hard to find proper information. I'm still kind of figuring things out myself, so it's been great to read this and know I'm not so alone.
